Don't worry, this is nothing more than a test run. I've never clogged before, nor do I know what it means to be a blogger. Thus, before I try and figure that out, methinks it best to introduce myself.
I'm Dan, a (now) 22 year old college student, in the secondary social studies education track. Although, one day I aspire to be the history college professor; the one with elbow pads in his tweed jacket, a beard, and who is frequently seen musing over a tobacco pipe. I'm also a music-lover, a drummer, great lover of cars - old and new, and a wannabe photographer. I enjoy the gentlemanly side of life, and saying that I'm an "old soul" is an understatement on occasion.
So then why blog?
A good question. On one hand, I enjoy writing, but haven't had the creative inspiration of late to write songs or poetry. But to be honest, I have very strong opinions about a great many things about town (Eh? Eh?) and most of the time they just rattle around in my head uselessly. Thus, I think clogging can be a good way to share my oft philosophical musings on life, my opinions on current events, and whatever the hell else comes to my mind which I think might be of pleasure to read.
And for those who like to comment on things they read, I welcome it. Don't hold back! There's little I enjoy more than good honest, old-fashioned debate and intelligent argument. But please, don't be a dick.
So to all who may read my blog, let's be clear: this is still just a test run. This experiment may go poorly. But at least I'll never be politically correct (ew), politically motivated, dishonest, or boring (at least I'll TRY not to be boring).
